Joe Rabaey

Joe grew up in Hastings, Minnesota, and always enjoyed the outdoors and time on the water, with frequent trips to lakes/rivers and the BWCA. After receiving his BA in biochemistry from St. John's University, he combined his interests and pursued a PhD in aquatic ecology at the University of Minnesota. Now working as a postdoc with University of Minnesota Duluth and the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center, he can continue his research to help care for our natural aquatic resources here in Minnesota and beyond.
